Exclusive Travel Discount Vouchers for Alaska's Top Attractions

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: How much does the TourSaver® booklet and/or App cost?

A: Only $99.99 for the Statewide Alaska TourSaver Coupon Package. For over $18,000 in savings. It’s only $49.99 for the Southeast/Inside Passage Alaska edition of the App and $79.99 for the SouthCentral + Interior edition of the app.

Q: What does 2-for-1 mean?

A: 2-for-1 means one person pays for a tour, attraction or admission and the 2nd person goes for free….buy-one-get-one-free. For hotels you pay for the first night and the second consecutive night is free. One app works for two travelers.

Q: Many of the coupons say “Space is limited and restrictions apply.” How can I be sure that I can use my coupon?

A: It’s important to call ahead for reservations, just like you do for airlines and hotels. The sooner you make your arrangements, the more likely it is that you’ll be confirmed on your desired date. Several of our smaller “artisan-class” operators only accept one coupon per departure. It is a small percentage of the 110 offers in the book. Things like air tours, some raft tours and small boat operators. We go out of our way to bring these quality operators into the program because it’s here that you will see some of the best Alaska has to offer. But, with only six seats per departure on some things (like flightseeing tours, for example), we offer the “one coupon per departure” clause. Check in advance to see if your dates are available.

Q: How can I be sure that the coupons in the book will be honored by the merchants?

A: All tour operators, hotels and merchants participating in Alaska TourSaver have signed legal and binding contracts. We have confidence that you will be treated with respect and courtesy. If a booking problem should occur, simply contact us and we will help resolve the issue. TourSaver customers have purchased more than 130,000 books and app packages since the program started and we receive rave reviews each year.

Q: How long do we have to use the coupons in the Alaska TourSaver?

A: Most of the coupons are valid for the calendar year of 2024. Most coupons expire at the end of the tourist season in September. Some, including the hotel coupons, expire at the end of the year, December 31, 2024.

Q: Do I have to make advance reservations, or can I just show up?

A: For many of the offers, advance reservations are required. Additionally, you must mention that you have a Alaska TourSaver. These conditions are part of the conditions which are printed on each coupon. All offers and conditions are the same in the app as the book

Q: Are there any other restrictions for using the coupons? Days of the week? Time of day?

A: There are 100 offers in the Alaska TourSaver and all the participating merchants have their own set of conditions. These are printed clearly on each coupon. This is why it is important to have the TourSaver in hand when making reservations.

Q: How do I make reservations for the offers in the book or app?

A: Each App package has a unique book number on the bottom of each coupon page in the app packages. On each coupon, there is a phone number for reservations and information–some coupons have a reservation code that tour operators may require. The app personal booking number is at the bottom of each coupon inside the “Redeem Now” button. You should only push the “Redeem Now” in the presence of the vendor at the tour or attraction in Alaska. Some vendors may ask you to push the Redeem button on their offers, when you make phone reservations with them...then send a screenshot of the coupon.

Q: Do I have to buy the Alaska TourSaver before I get to Alaska?

A: Many Alaska visitors purchase the TourSaver book 6 to 8 months before they travel. It’s a good idea to plan ahead for your trip to Alaska, particularly when traveling during the peak travel months of June, July and August.

Q: What is the TourSaver return policy?

A: Refund policy does not apply to the TourSaver® App–all sales of app packages are final. Please make sure you can use the coupons before you make an app package purchase.

Q: Do you have any more information on Alaska vacations?

A: One of the coupons in the book offers a free subscription to Scott McMurren’s Alaska Travelgram.

Q: Which credit cards do you accept?

A: For online purchases, we accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express and Apple Pay and Google Pay. Email us your questions about Alaska travel deals.
